Let’s Talk! is a conference organized by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Cross-Cultural Student Emotional Wellness (MGH CCCSEW). The goal is to help promote the success and well-being of Asian and Asian American students by highlighting intergenerational experiences with cultural identity and mental health. As part of CHATogether, I created the comic, "How to Talk About Other Majors?" for the Student & Parent Series, Supporting Asian American Youth in Academic and Career Decision Making. This comic depicts a conversation in which a student reveals to her father that she does not want to major in the field of his expectations. The also comic features “Teaching Points” for both parent and child, which introduces communication techniques and examples of how to use them in this context.

Watch me present my comic as a panelist for the Let's Talk webinar, "Supporting Asian American Youth in Academic and Career Decision-Making" on December 13, 2020!
